The payment process
If your representative law firm has informed you Shieldpay will be handling your claim payment, you will receive an email directly from Shieldpay with a link with further instructions. Shieldpay are not provided with all claimant details at the same time by your law firm, so there maybe a considerable wait between first hearing that Shieldpay will be handling the payout and receiving your first email from Shieldpay

Once we have received your details, we will verify this information
If we require anything further we will be in touch over the next 7 working days
Once we have completed all necessary checks and received authorisation from your law firm, we will process your compensation payment
